It launches for PC through Steam Early Access later this year, though a specific release date for that version has not been announced. Inspired by DayZ and The Walking Dead, H1Z1 was announced earlier this year. SOE also developed DC Universe Online, which is currently available on PS4. After a delay, the game is now expected to launch on the platform later this year (more on that later). H1Z1 is not the only free-to-play game from SOE headed to PS4, as Sony announced last year that PlanetSide 2 is coming to the console. SOE did not announce a release date for the PS4 version of H1Z1.
